This Privacy Policy explains what information FlirtCam Chat ("we," "us") collects when you use chat.flirtcam.net (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices available to you.

1. Information We Collect

Account information you provide: username, email address, password (stored in hashed/encrypted form by our authentication provider, never in plain text), age, gender, and country, all collected at signup.

Content you create: messages you send in chat rooms and direct messages, and any images or GIFs you upload.

Automatically collected information: we use a session cookie to keep you signed in for the duration you choose (15 or 30 days). This cookie stores only a session expiration marker, never your password.

We do not currently collect precise geolocation, payment information, or government-issued identification.

To create and maintain your account
To operate core Service features, including chat rooms, direct messaging, and image sharing
To display your chosen gender and country as part of your public profile within the Service, as you configured at signup

3. Third-Party Service Providers

We rely on the following infrastructure providers to operate the Service. Each processes limited data strictly to provide their respective function:

Firebase (Google): authentication and real-time message/account storage
Cloudflare R2: storage and delivery of user-uploaded images and GIFs
Netlify: website hosting and serverless backend functions

These providers may process data on servers located outside your country of residence. Each maintains its own security and privacy practices independent of this policy.

4. Message and Content Retention

Room and direct message content is periodically cleared from our systems as part of routine data minimization. Account information (username, email, profile details) is retained for as long as your account remains active.

5. Cookies

We use a single functional cookie to remember your login session for the duration you select. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies at this time.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect your information, including access-controlled databases and encrypted credential storage. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights and Choices

You may update your profile information or delete your account at any time by contacting us using the information in our DMCA & Content Policy page. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have additional rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and we will make reasonable efforts to honor such requests.

The Service is not directed at, and is strictly prohibited from use by, anyone under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If we become aware that an account belongs to a minor, we will terminate it and delete associated data.
